It's been two weeks since she's arrived in Darrow and Elena can already tell that being put on forced house arrest is creating a little bit of tension between her and Damon. She's reluctantly agreed to drink from the vein, but only because when she'd tried to do it from a blood bag, she'd gotten sick on it and made a mess everywhere, ruining her clothes. She'd had to scrub the blood out of the tiles in the apartment for hours afterwards. It feels like she's been pretty limited, choice-wise. Add that to the part where she's still lacking a daylight ring and she's running outside the minute it gets dark just to feel like she can breathe again.
It's why, when Damon suggests they go out tonight, she doesn't hesitate. She does offer him a questioning look when he tells her to dress up a little the day before, but obliges on the night of. As they pull up to the nightclub in his car, she figures it out.
"How did you find this place?" she asks, swiveling in the front seat to face him before lifting a hand. "You know what? I promised I wouldn't ask questions tonight," she adds, off his look, "so this is me, throwing that question away. No questions. I'm just going to do things." Doing instead of thinking sounds like a superior idea at the moment, especially since there are a lot of things she's done in the past week that she'd rather not think about.

She sticks to the wall at first, deciding to go for a drink before making her way into the crowd. The bartender is some big guy who is probably going to attempt to check her ID, but she stops him first, gazing into his eyes.
"You don't need to see mine."

"Shots?" she suggests, and orders a couple for each of them, something to toss back quickly in advance of dancing. The first one she barely feels but the second she definitely can - even if it doesn't go to her head as easily as it once would have, it still leaves her a little tingly, enough that she's willing to leave the empty glasses behind and make her way into the people dancing as she starts to move to the music.

"Anyone?" she asks, tilting her head to one side to talk to him over the music even as her gaze lingers and comes to rest on a guy dancing with another girl, barely enough space between their bodies.

It's a harmless nothing, a flirt designed to get his attention until she can catch his eye and compel him, and she bounces up on the balls of her feet like a fighter, ordering him not to scream.

She draws herself in by the grip on his shoulder, laughing freely.

"Are you sure it's a good idea?" she asks, softly tentative. "More than one?"

Without words, she gestures to another group, then glances back to Damon with a small nod before making her way over, immersing herself in the throng of bodies. It's easy to separate someone after that - a girl, who can't be much taller than Elena herself. She won't be taking that much this time, Elena thinks, as her fangs find a place in her neck.

Her mouth curves into a slow smile and she winds an arm around his neck, pulling him closer to dance, drawn in like a magnet.

She gazes out at the rest of them, human bodies crushed together in a frenzy of movement, eyes glazing over as she moves against Damon, feels him move back in return.

Of course, they could do that right here. He knew she could hear him, so he murmured, "Let me taste you. Please, God..." His fangs caressed her throat again, a little more firmly.

"Damon," she gasps, winding her arm back to let her fingers cup the back of his head, urging him to her neck without any more words.

There's something about this that feels even more intimate than if they were doing more; the pull of his lips at her neck almost makes her legs buckle, and she leans into him for support.

His wrist grazes her lips and she lashes out before thinking, sinking her teeth into his flesh and nearly buckling again when the tang of his blood hits her tongue. She feeds slowly, gradually, eager but not forceful, almost gently as she sways in his hold.

She keeps her eyes shut, lingering still against him, her body loose and heavy with relaxation, desire and blood stoking a fire low in her belly.

She feels more attuned to him now, if that's even possible, and she knows she doesn't need to say her thanks out loud for him to understand it in her gaze.

It's a soft kiss in contrast to everything they've just done, and she doesn't move to deepen it, simply enjoying the innocence of it as she closes her eyes.

"Ready for more, or have you had enough?" he asked softly, knowing she could hear him and also knowing she could take that question more than one way. How she did take it would tell him a lot.

She's still ever aware of Damon, though, and his presence beside her. The space between their bodies feels infinite after the depth of that kiss.

"Don't - you won't go anywhere, right?" she asks, reaching out to briefly slip a hand into his.
